Throughout its long history, Medical Aid International has had as part of its very core a belief in education. Whether it is informally in a remote environment, teaching on Primary Trauma Care Courses or devising and running our own Biomedical Engineering programmes.
As part of our development of this area and with the commencement of our City & Guilds assured online Biomedical Engineering programme, we felt now was the time formally launch our academy as we work to help those less fortunate than ourselves. We have more programmes under development and can’t wait to share these with you all.
First of all I thank you, The Medical International team for your effort and commitment towards developing well standardized biomedical engineers especially for rural hospitals of underdeveloped and developing nations.
I am indeed very happy and fortunate to be the part of this team now. I, Mr. Bravin Lakshmanan Rajaretnam, Operating room nurse by profession find Unit 1 about frequency spectrum, Unit 11 about anesthetics and the operating room helped me enhancing my knowledge on this areas.
Unit 13 is very crisp and sharp about communication which helped me to imagine scenario of various situation, how to be more effective communicator, Trainer/Teacher etc.
Overall, This course is an asset not only for biomedical engineers but also other healthcare workers especially nurses like me.
Once again I thank you the team and hats off for your support. THANK YOU…..

One of the easiest ways we can make budgets go a long way is the sensible use of equipment no longer required in the west. This recycling is very effective. Please do contact us for further details if you think you have equipment of any sort that may help.
